SASI... Vision, Mission, & Core Values PDF Print E-mail

Vision & Mission:

Vision and Mission - Different meanings but often confused terms or processes. "Vision" is an idealized goal or outcome of the endeavor(s) of a person, an organization, or even an entire country. "Mission" is the day-to-day action required to create a vision or move toward it. It is important to understand that a "Vision" can be either a concrete end - attainable through considerable effort, or a lofty ideal - not meant to be attained, but rather to be strived for. Both types of visions are important to individuals and organizations - as are clearly defined missions that move toward the vision.

Core Values:

Core Values are necessary to cultivate and maintain the desired behaviors required to successfully live out the day-to-day missions that move an individual or an organization toward the vision.
