About the Business:

SASI is a leadership development firm with more than one hundred years of collective experience in developing leaders in corporations, emergency service organizations, public education, and municipal government.  The SASI philosophy is rooted in the psychology of organizational behaviors.  The foundational belief is that an organization’s leaders and participants become empowered to succeed in their work environment and their personal lives when they are properly equipped with a deeper knowledge and understanding of people, organizations, systems, and processes.

SASI’s experiential learning approach and deep-rooted understanding of organizational behavior are tied together in the SASI Basic Empowerment Training™.  During the training, a wide variety of instructional techniques, presentation formats, and proprietary training components are employed. Fundamentally, leadership skills are developed through team participation, cooperative learning, discussions, defining processes, problem solving, and solution generation techniques.  By actively involving the team members essential to an organization’s success, SASI consultants facilitate a focus on organizational outcomes that ultimately guide participants in creating their path to success.

About Our Founders:

Co-founders Ron Morrison and Randy King began building the company and client base in January 2004.  However, the roots of their professional relationship date back to 1982, when they worked together in a municipal fire department east of Houston, Texas.  The relationship continued into the 1990s when they both held positions at Six Flags Theme Parks in the Safety and Risk Management Division.  During this time, Morrison and King began developing much needed leadership training based on their collective knowledge of leadership in emergency management services.  Morrison continued his professional career in public education, advancing to Director of Fine Arts for the Leander Independent School District in Texas.  King continued his professional career at Six Flags, advancing to Corporate Director of Risk Management.

Morrison and King have spent the last two decades involved in a wide variety of leadership and public service. Both are active in non-profit organizations where they develop leadership and emotional intelligence within participants.  Morrison and King recombined their talents, formally launching Solutions and Specialized Innovations, Ltd. (SASI) in January 2005.
